  1. It’s been a month I’ve done the breathing everything multiple times a day cold shower only and I’ve done a few I’ve baths and I haven’t been able to get rid of the anxiety

    I thought going into fight or flight mode whilst having anxiety was really bad. Isn't this what the wim hoff method was?

  5. The people who disliked this video don't like breathing, don't like the cold, and don't appreciate the benefits this man expounded about adding some simple disciplines into a daily routine and seeing well documented benefits from them. Go figure.

  7. Thank you for all you've done for our country, and this is so encouraging to hear about how you've improved with your physical and mental pain using the Wim Hof Method. It was so meant for you. I've been doing it every day as my form of meditation. If I try regular meditation my mind wanders too much.

  9. You've taken a lot upon you, writing those condolences letters, Brad Carson. On top of everything else, you've experienced. When mental – and emotional stress is overwhelming, our wiser part often decides to throw in a trigger. Be it a physical accident or an emotional shock. That's supposed to be taken as a wake-up call. I've seen many people in my life walking right into quagmires, stopped in their tracks, ignoring their sense of well being and boundaries.

  11. I started taking cold showers almost 2 weeks ago. The very first time it was so hard but at the end it was relaxing. Once I got out the first few times i did the cold showers, I felt so good…I felt really really energetic.
    Now after almost 2 weeks I take a cold shower twice a day 10mins a time and it's too easy, after a few minutes I dont even feel the cold anymore it's like taking a hot shower. The hardest part is stepping under cold water. But what I find weird is when i get out of these cold showers now i dont feel as good and energetic as the first couple times I got out of it.
    Does this mean I can handle way more then just a cold shower ?
    Should I buy a big bath and take ice baths?
    And what if I want to take ice baths every day ? Isn't this bad for the water bill at the end of the month?

  12. This is so beautiful to hear. I was also an officer in the Marine Corps and i experienced a back injury coming over a training wall. Following Win Hof's teaching has not only done wonders for back, but has healed my entire body & mind!
