  1. These gadgets can easily be sold for Β£1 the single and Β£1.50 for the double.. This guy is quite naive when it comes to pricing his product.. not thinking big enough

  2. They keep saying Β£100,000 is a lot of money. But given the size of the addressable market, which the entrepreneur researched, I don't know that it's that unrealistic an ask. He's got patents, he doesn't have competitors, I would say the main worry is not the amount of money he's asking for, it's the fact that his business hasn't really gone anywhere in 10 years.

  3. On this show I have always found the ending of a confirmed deal weird..

Pre-deal: the camera pans to a sea of angry faces

A deal is made: everyone celebrates, grinning enthusiastically and laughing/cheering

It is just such a 180

  4. They're called flash rings in the U.S? Also, if there is a wiring issue you need to disconnect the device. How can you do that when it's covered? If you use punch in the wire you're asking for a problem later on so what about UK electrical work am I missing?

  5. Debra didn't fully understand. It isn't just so that you can keep using lights while you are refurbishing. An electrician does the re-wiring. They can then leave, you can replaster and repaint without getting plaster and paint on the cables. Also, you don't need to use an electrician after plastering and painting as you just screw things into the walls. But it is the protection of cables that is key.
