  1. Great info. I got a Doberman this winter and was wondering this exact topic the other day while figuring out my spring schedule. I’m not looking forward to “dog spots” in the yard this year …👎🏼. Hoping to train him to “go” in a gravel area instead of the lawn 👍🏼

  2. Pete off topic but my crepe myrtles have a black looking mildew over the entire tree on the bark . I can scrape it off with my fingernail or spray it with the water hose and it comes off and then comes back. I bought some fungicide for trees and sprayed on it but not much luck . It was a product from Lowe's so probably not very good. Please help if you can.

  3. Thanks for the info, Pete. Gus is a YouTube star now! 🙂

Pete, it looks like you live in a quiet neighborhood where your dog owning neighbors will either let their dogs loose to roam into other yards or they will walk their dogs. When dogs are out like that they will sometimes poop or pee in your lawn. For someone that takes care of their lawn as well as you do, how do you prevent this from happening? If it does happen how do you fix any damage to your lawn from the dog poop or pee?
