  1. This was so interesting and I have been wondering about dill. But havent taken the time to research because I've been so busy with harvest and canning and homeschooling pur three children and helping others.

  4. I recall my grandmother's garden always having dill growing in it. ❤ Love it in so many things! How do you use a tincture after it's made? Or should i say how did "they" use a tincture "back then"?😉

  5. yep a little bit of pickle juice, when you have stomach complaints or, like my daughter in law had gall bladder issues and she took dill juice to relieve symptoms…dill is really good for digestive /stomach complaints…

  6. Oh my goodness!! My grannie taught my mom that dill was good for me and my brother when we were wee little ones… my mom always said it was awesome! She used that and gripe water anytime we had 'grumpy tummys' as they were fondly called around our house growing up!
    So cool to hear you share this info here too!! 💗
