I have a long hair guinea pig. it's so hard to shave off her matted hair and clipped their nails because they hate it so much and they move. Is there anything I can do to help them relax more? should I take them to somewhere to have their nails and hair shaved? I know my vet can do the nails but she hates it when I try to shave her hair off with the buzzer. It's so close to her skin that it hurts. Thanks
You do a wanderful job already but I thought maybe you would like some tips to help you out with the haircuts I recamend watching YouTube videos of pet groomers you can apply some of the same ways they shave or cut to the piggys I recamend Dede @MyFavritGroomer (not sure if I spelt favrit right lol) but she is amazing and she makes things easy to understand she grooms dogs and cats and I can easily see you being able to use her tips on shaving, cutting and blending, love all your videos ^-^
Gary is looking a bit rough but, Im sure in a few months he’ll be back to his handsome self. I have a feeling his new owners will spoil him and Charlie

This Guinea had a bad life and then it was like he was thrown into a vet, I don't know, like a child getting a haircut.
I just feel bad for him
