I myself use hemp based cbd eliquid. I only get it from two reputable companies that readily have on their website for each batch they produce. I am not going to say what companies I use (unless someone asks) but I will disclose what conditions I suffer from that it is helping- as in not CURING- again HELPING- it HELPS lessen the pain (roughly from a 8 down to a 7 on a scale of 1-10) from chronic pain (CRPS) and central pain syndrome, overall inflammation of which glaucoma is a part of and also my anxiety (again on a scale of 1-10 it brings it from a 6 down to a 4). It IS being used along side of pharmaceuticals as a "complementary" therapy as CBD is considered to be a treatment that is of a complementary and/or alternative nature.
Considering it does nothing, it does make sense that people would sell an inert substance instead. Buyers would be like "this is great CBD, I am totally not high, just as advertised, must be primo".
I have found the CBD tobacco to be effective pain relief. Check your local tobacco shop. My doc studied the synthetics, like pills, in the 1980's. He stated the plant in it's natural form was more effective.
I take a mass amount of tablet for fybromyalgia. In the UK it's extremely hard to get a prescription. You also have to go through many tablets until nothing works before you would ever be considered for it. I've not slept a wink due to chronic pain… We need this medicine…. The suffering is continuous. 😩
It's hard to take Scott at Top Class too seriously when he's supposedly knowledgeable about the fraud taking place in the CBD industry (which occurs for sure), yet he has no idea how to even pronounce cannabidiol. How much can he really have researched this and still not figure out how to pronounce it correctly?

My brother is a diabetic so orthopedic surgeons told him he wouldn't be a good candidate to have his hip replaced always in pain after 40 years of a hard job he started using cannabis oil rubbing it on the hips and knees and he swears by it. Helping him with his pain it's just so damn expensive we have to drive 4 hours one way just to get it at a reasonable cost the quality as well as the price of a needs to be regulated!!!
Main problem is there's so many companies out there selling CBD or claims to be selling it. Getting it tested independently and having it being fairly priced is extremely difficult. I don't want to say CBD is a bubble, but it's price due to it's popularity has skyrocketed in the past few years. Hopefully it means the fraudsters selling snake oil go out of business while the legitimate ones stay around.
Stay far away from Diamond CBD products. Always research the brand and product well before you use it and if there's no indication of the mg of CBD on the product it's a bad sign. I buy all my stuff from these actual CBD franchise stores that have recently opened in my area called CBD Releaf Center's. Basically set up the same as legal cannabis shops. They carry like 5 different brands of product lines and all reliable stuff. I like the Koi brand a lot.
This is why I stick to a few key CBD brands that are well known and that's it. There are bad brands out there that slip spice and what not in the products.

The pure CBD extract is expensive and then they mark it up way too much because of popularity. Do your research and ask other people. 30 ml should cost around $30, but it doesn't anywhere. At least double for the real thing. I'm glad they are going after at least some of them.

A good friend of mine died from using supplements advertised to improve his health. It turned out they poisoned him causing organ failure.

Many claims are false. It works on some things, but plain cannabis low in thc are just as good. It is sold in quick stop gas/junk food stores.

CBD is dangerous. Like marijuana, it causes heart rate issues. Don't take it without medical supervision.
