  1. Thank you Pete, and fellow vets for standing tall and proud for our great democracy. Let us never forget those who have given life and limb so that we can live free. Let us also encourage those who will step up in the future to defend that freedom in their turn.

Now let's get out there and fight to put Pete behind the big desk come January 2021 God bless the USA.

  2. This video is way too important to not edit it. The audio is not in real time. Get rid of the long wait of music at the beginning. For me, Buttigieg's fellow reservist, Mr. Gary's words were telling and impactful. And then of course, Pete's speech are the two most important componets. Just my thoughts for what it's worth.

  3. Inspiring, thorough, passionate, and relatable. Pete at his most presidential and compassionatee. The only thing missing is ending the practice of deporting veterans: regardless of the crimes they might have committed (often in direct connection to trauma they suffered while serving), no one should ever be kicked out of a country which they have laid their lives on the line fighting for.

  4. Great speech! Growing up in a military family where my dad served for 20 years, this is a candidate who knows what he's talking about when it comes to veterans, what it means to serve and how that impacts people, families and lives. Thank you Pete!
