This is my first time getting the ipsy glam bag plus. I was so disappointed with my products. I got that dark wine lipstick and that dark fingernail polish I also got the same highlighter as you. Which I probably wont use either. I am just really disappointed.
I got that same one in my Aug or Oct Glam bag plus. SMH I am so over them resending out things we have already got, it's like they are just cleaning out there warehouse.
I think your regular ipsy bag is one of the best ones I've seen in a long time, I like every single product! I'm impressed with that one. The Glam Plus is just so so, I'd be a little disappointed in it.
Im so glad I didn’t upgrade to the plus. So far I been happy with my regular ipsy bag except last month the Betty bag was cute but I wasn’t excited about the products. Can’t wait to see what I get this month. Will let you know when it arrives.
I feel like the ultimate isn’t as personalized as the bag and plus. I hate lipsticks & perfumes & they were in my ultimate but never in my bag or plus. It’s disappointing & a waste of money.

I agree they are not reading my response. and they send a automated response or even contradicting response. I was supposed to get 12 items in my ultimate and only receive 11 one of my items was missing and was told that they'll send me shipping information when it ships plus a choice item for the inconvenience. Still haven't received shipping notification, it's been a month already. I receive my ultimate this month for free because I canceled then reactivated my account still not impressed. Think I'm going to cancel my Ipsy again. I don't like any of my bags this month the regular bag, the plus and the ultimate.
I accidentally got the GB and it wouldn't let me cancel, so I cancelled my plus instead, kinda glad I did coz the October GBP is super similar to november
I can't even express how un happy I am with the Ipsy customer service. I feel like 75% of the time they don't even read what I wrote and I just get a generic response. Last month though I went off about how disappointed I was and that I obviously wasn't the only one and that they should check out YouTube so they can see what people really think because they are going downhill and o actually received a better response this time. Next month is a silver bag. I kept the ultimate even though I didn't like last month because I hope things will get fixed so we'll see. The ultimate bags are top handle bag I guess you could call it a train case. If you have a PO box I would be happy to send you my bag because I will never use it. I hope to one day get a makeup geek item In my box.
I'm soo over the "collabs" also it means is its ipsy brand,so like the store brand,that's all ,its nothing but collabs an brands I never heard of..I'd rather spend my $$ on items I actually want

Yes!! Same I've had so many issues and they didn't send me the choice item,I picked an I wrote them,and said the EXACT same thing! Told me oh well,and so I emailed them again about how upset I am and I'll be canceling, so they gave me points 600,which means I had to pay for another month,if I wanted to redeem those points,so as soon as I do,I'm canceling all my ipsy accounts,I'm done,its all indie brands I never heard of,not worth it
I did the same, I changed to the Plus after the let down of the Ultimate. I’ve been happy generally with the Plus but this Nov. I’m not sure about Gigi cosmetics. The bags are cute though, great unboxing thanks hun 🌹your beautiful ❤️

Also I totally agree with you. I absolutely hate the collab products. The quality is horrible. This is my first time signing up for Ipsy (my friend has it so i thought i would try it out). I was offered the plus but when I saw the spoilers I just thought they were super cheap products and passed. I have the smallest Ipsy subscription. I added on some products from the Gigi collection and noticed the quality of their ingredients is super low. One of the lip balms I ordered has synthetic wax in it (not regular beeswax or something more natural). I was bummed by that and the powders (from that same collection) have crummy ingredients like talc. Also, it is taking forever for me to receive my first bag. My bag was supposed to arrive today and they sent me a message it would take longer. So they cant even keep their promises of when these are sent. I say they should do away with the ultimate and plus and just focus on the regular glam bag (in my opiniont). This message is super long …. 🙂 sorry maybe i just needed to vent
I think it totally sucks that they don't offer higher end products like you mentioned in the ultimate bag anymore. In a way though if you think about it it makes sense. Im not really sure how it works but i wonder if a really high end brand – (like those offered in a Sephora would want to be included in these bags) …. since one product can be sold in major department store for close to $50 dollars or more.
In my opinion you seek really picky about your eyeshadows. You only want neutrals. I doubt ipsy would continue to put just neutral palettes every month so I feel like you will always be disappointed. I mean how many neutral palettes do you need, you do the same look but just with different palettes… I feel like subscriptions are to get you out your comfort zone so for the most part you know?
They always tell me oh we have no control our system matches you with our products best blah blah I’m like uh no defensively not because I wouldn’t have gotten this item lol
Many people got reimburse but the bags definitely hit the 250$ value . A lot of people looked up the items and were very surprised to learn the prices of those items. Like there were creams that were worth 75$ it’s just a lot of people didn’t like how there was soooo much skin care and like no makeup! Lol. It wasn’t my cup of tea last month that’s what I didn’t get it last month or this month.. but will at some point. I watched several people where they were very happy with the boxes they got which was just like everyone else’s but it’s because they loved the skin care that was in there.. and DONT get me started on their responses! It’s almost like there automated.. and I’ll have to write back and say it again to them and say clearly your not understanding!

Thy over charged me I got charged for 3 little bags 2 medium bags 2 of the big ones an I pulsed mine for this month so I shouldn't have got shit taking off my card An thy are giving me a really hard time over it No phone number an I get hold of them by the costumer care an thy are straight rude An thy send me the wrong colors as well an she is right thy told me thy don't mess up I must have messed up my color skin tone an no I didn't Thy messed up an fixed nothing so I'm going to just let go of ipsy I'm done with this shit
I switched back from ultimate because it sucked then I got my plus this month and was also disappointed eyeshadows where to dark Gigi palette too dark then I got another masks I don't use masks basically gave my whole box away I'm about to cancel

I completely understand what you mean with Ipsy customer care. They used to be so great with their customer service, lately it’s been awful!

I got that nomad palette a few month's ago. And I ended up giving it away. The shadows didn't blend very well. And they weren't very pigmented.

Never had problems with Ipsy costumer service before. However, this past month was horrible. It’s true that they aren’t listening to our concerns.
