More than 4 billion people earn less than 5$.west has done massive industrialisation at the cost of climate and destroy the planet and western economic policy completely failure bcoz it treat nature as raw material and people as resource.now When its time to industrialise India or other African and Asian countries, you throw a piece of climate . If you truly interested in saving the climate definitely environmental activism will not do, but it is sufficient to achieve Nobel .first change yourself and your country Sweden who consume energy more than 10 times than an average person.

I think what we always find ourselves coming to a head with is our own failings as a human race. Whether it be climate change or politics we constantly demonstrate that humans have immense difficulty deciding as a whole on how to appropriately react to any given situation. Many factors come into play. Education, culture, ideology, race, gender, etc. I propose that as we are right now as a species, we are not ready to face world wide unification and change. I also propose that humans are not meant to live under the same laws in such large numbers. There are too many of us to govern adequately as a whole. We are not a hive mind. We are all cognitive animals capable of abstract thought.
Yes, we should get of fossil fuels at some point. We have no thermostat that controls the sun's output. No one admits how much the sun affects our climate. Follow the money folks Greta is being paid for her bad acting skills. My guess the Al Gore foundation just saying.
