Mostly spot on, and I understand that this is outside the focus of the episode, but I have to point out that the microtransaction model is demonstrably not good for players either. Predatory monetization is good for no one but the companies who engage in it—and even then it's not any kind of sustainable strategy, being intended to maximize short-term earnings for shareholders who will be out the door the instant they're done bleeding the company dry.
