  1. These studies do not solely focus on cannabis use the participants also take other substances which makes the results invalid. If they found just cannabis smokers no drink nothing else then yeah id see the correlation. Also if your brain is using more functions than average person when you smoke cannabis it increases the functions which would explain the psychosis

  2. Do with the blue shirt on look like his hairline got severe anxiety real question is what type of weirdos do y’all smoke with Jeffrey Dahmer John Wayne Gacy Ed gene ? Only thing you’re killing after you get this Kawasaki green dust nuggs is Doritos quality booty and everybody on call of duty fuck fortnight

  3. I'm bipolar and take prescription anti-psychotics, I've been smoking weed since I was 16 and I've never experienced psychosis. I think the results just further prove the point that a lot people dealing with mental health issues reach to drugs as an escape or as a sense of equilibrium. But none the less I'm now being treated and I continue to smoke weed, it's a healthier substitute for alcohol since I can't drink on my medication.

  4. Cannabis in its current state is much stronger than any beginner smoker can reasonably smoke. If we had entry level 6-7% thc marijuana it wouldn’t cause this. A 22% strain rolled up is going to slaughter anyone that doesn’t smoke often it’s an insane amount of high to just dive into. We need the Budweiser of bud. We need a low strength bud good tasting and good feeling not harsh weed for people who want to try it because the shit they’re pumping out now is not for beginners.

  5. People kill over power and money over control of a new market monopoly is not just a board game. It's not your average crazy stoners getting stoned and snapping into cold bloody murders unless you're talking about fort knight

  6. I have phcyoiophrania spell check and cannabis puts a fuckin smile on my face, and coming from a man who lives in permanent social psychosis not speaking for all crazy muthafuckas but the green brings me out by opening thousands of thoughts that a pill that gives me big titties numbing my universal connection to the Essendon life. I'll take the Munchies and a smile and that bowl I fuckin nachos, non violence and let people just fuckin be and stop judging or throw the first stoned bicth

  7. Im not agaisnt pot, as a matter of fact im an ocassional toker, so im not trying to find wrongs with it

But the meta study the pro pot guy cited say correlation between cannabis and violence is "unclear" I didnt say they didmt find no correlation, so the jury is still out on that I gues, however the other guy on the con side says he has studies IT DOES
    So who knows

I mean really we are being stupid thinking pot is a sacred magical plant, its a fucking drug of course it can make you go off the rails, the issue is how likely and how much does it take?
I mean booze surely increases risk of violence, beer shouldnt be illegal because of that, pcp however has a VERY high risk of ballistic violence so it should be combated, same way with pot I mean sure there MUST be cases of people going psycho during a high its just HOW high is the risk is it about the same or less than booze? Then no problem, is it worse? Then we have to have a second look at it

  8. My roommate smokes pretty much every day. He manages to get all his stuff done and I've seen his life actually get better since integrating it into his life. However, when I smoke every day for just 3 or 4 days, I can literally feel myself becoming less put together.

I'll enjoy it every now and then, but people cannot be stupid enough to hold themselves to equal standards. Some people click with it, others should only do it every now and then if they really want to, and others should just stay away from it all together.

  9. Im us to the voices had em all my live weed as long as i dont smoke heavy stativa stains im all good i smoke some purple kush i get all fucked up but i know its something do with these days weed i grow my own not same effect idk

  12. guy on the right is trying to curve reality to his point of view. I guarantee he's never tried smoking. substances get rid of any bullshit and allow you to see shit as it really is. he's clearly still on the game of trying to win at his own stupid inaccurate argument

  14. I can attest to this 100%. Marijuana IS a "miracle drug" that helps prevent the proliferation of cancerous cells, ceases seizures, helps with anxiety and depression, all of that.
BUT… like all drugs, it is NOT for everyone. I have a family history of psychiatric illness/addiction and therefore was already genetically susceptible to going off rails at some point too. All it took was an environmental trigger the psychoactive drug THC over time in my case to trigger my first psychotic episode. After years of smoking weed I had to quit suddenly because I became psychitic not only when smoking but also intermittently ever since. Like "acid trip from hell" type of psychotic. Sadly, I obviously can never be under that influence again without having an immediate psychotic reaction – one that often doesn't subside for months after the last hit/dose of THC.

**Side note, I hate to admit that I also did become violent, but it's the truth. I wasn't violent toward anyone else, but I was toward myself given that self harm and suicide attempts are definitely still considered major acts of violence.

Weed is awesome and personally I think it could even eradicate the opiod crisis in the near future, but people with addictive personalities and those at risk of losing their entire goddamn minds should avoid at all costs lol.

  15. I am high atleast 85% of my time awake and I completely agree with a lot of what he’s saying.
It’s definitely fucking with my brain as well as the people around me.

Overuse of marijuana causes many psychological problems and no one talks about it because everyone likes weed too much.

  16. I smoke and I promise it causes psychosis. It also triggered psychosis in me heavily after a bad trip from LSD for 8 months but now I'm ok but I smoke for "fun". Let me also say being sober is truly the best drug. Save your money and time. Focus on working hard and being healthy. Boxing and drums are my thing when I don't work.

  17. Some men get aggressive when they're drunk, fact. Some men get paranoid they smoke, fact. Both mental states will lead to violence.

There is no safe mind altering substance. This doesn't mean don't take these substances. It means use them responsibly and don't believe marijuana is completely harmless.

  18. It's the guns fault. It's the cars fault. It's the alcohols fault. It's the marijuana's fault. It's the video game's fault. No this is all fallacious and propaganda. Some human's are just shitty. Alcohol isn't the fault of a DUI. This is why the human goes to jail and not the beer… THE HUMAN MADE THE CHOICE. derp. Smh…
Marijuana calms me down and makes me more empathetic if anything.

  19. i think there's a huge difference between smoking weed often and rarely and any risks with smoking are for the rare smokers but for some reason we don't talk about that

  20. What is most important in this conversation is that the psychoactive effect of THC could be a potential contributing factor. It doesn't mean that it is the sole cause, but there may be potential correlation between cannabis use some people with less mental fortitude and their propensity to violence. Other factors include education, genetics, environment, economic situation, personal preferences, relationship, family history, exposure, etc.

I appreciate the perspective of both sides as it helps me better understand the debate on cannabis and public concerns. I am a proponent of CBD, so I have a stake in Cannabis becoming federally legal, but I appreciate hearing the other side.

  21. My criminal nature, and my psychosis exist with our without Cannabis lmao.
Cannabis is one of the best antipsychotic aid, I've ever had.
The pros and cons are cool, but this dude presented ONE number, and then referred to his book. Full of crap, I think.
Joe Rogan keeps killing these podcasts

  22. pot causes paranoia the first few times because it shows you things you don't want to see and makes you feel like you're not in control of yourself like your system has been hijacked. Once you gain some experience and learn to ride the high instead of fighting it and learn to use that mental state in your favor pot will become a helping force in your life

  23. But the biggest thing to come to a conclusion about is.. Alchohol related Anger is IMMEDIATE it takes Years for someone who smokes to form the slightest bit of paranoia.. the brown hair guy is probably the dumbest bag of dicks walking..

  24. I have PTSD. I live in Arizona I smoke cannabis frequently and I have went into a rage smoking cannabis before. I noticed it was only when I smoked a strong sativa I got Extremely agitated and confrontational I do not have PTSD from Iraq I spent 114 months in prison so I don’t know if it just increases my agitation . And I know when I smoke Indica it does not do that I do not get agitated or angry

  25. Lets talk about how many people die of liver cancer kidney failure car accidents and violence under drunken stupers before we start reaching into maybes and slippery statitistics, idiot

  26. I smoke marijuana and have never once committed violence nor had psychosis. Alcohol has a higher rate of people committing violence while under the influence of it. Marijuana effects people with schizophrenia poorly but that’s because they already have a mental disorder, marijuana didn’t cause their schizophrenia they were already predisposed to it.
