Now that cannabis is legal in Canada, testing people's sobriety levels just got hazy. There isn't a standard breathalyzer treatment to detect how high you are just yet, so law enforcement are developing alternative methods. Manisha Krishnan got high and tried some of them out to see how she stacks up.

Ok ok ok…. I don't think we're should be illegal BUT I don't think anyone should smoke and drive, drink and drive, or take certain prescription medications and drive. Yes, I know it effects everyone differently, but so does alcohol and prescription medications. That's how I feel.
There is a difference between driving 'baked' and driving after consuming cannabis. This is much the same with prescription drugs. Do we tell someone with a doctor prescribed painkiller they can't drive while using a normal maintenance dose? No
It is a difficult process to test for marijuana intoxication, and I am 100 % behind measures to keep our roads safe. But we have to be fair in the process, as medical marijuana is just as valid to use during daily life as most other maintenance drugs.
