CBD, Cannabis & Endocannabinoid System Science VS Hype
CBD is all the rage nowadays, but is there any evidence to support the enthusiasm? I spent a few days reviewing the science and was blown away! Save on new …
THCA CBDA and its other components saved my life. It stopped my bleeding from IBD UC. I was getting to the point of having blood transfusions every 6 weeks. I had to grow and extract my own oil, because some dispensary bought oil did not work for me
Mike you are the best. Lots of love as always. For all your family. I cried when you talked about your dog, not gonna lie. You are one of the loveliest human beings and you guys are family goals. Respect
This was fascinating, you really are great for sharing this. But if feedback for someone who has been taking cannaboid products for a long time but I am a lay man when it comes to the science so although I thought thus video was great. You could have slowed down a bit more in your presentation and at certain points saying things like ‘ Ok so this means that if you have this then that receptor would be good for this.’ Ie gave more practical example to help explain this facinating subject. In more simple terms. Thank you 🙏
In line with the idea of a video series on this, it would be very valuable to include some information on producing your own CBD oil. An complete breakdown from start to finish; growing the hemp/cannabis under ideal conditions to increase plant production of CBD, and the extraction process.
Oh, I actually found you through Ken Berry. I got fooled like everyone else. I even sent my aunt to his clinic before it burned down. She got very sick and it was found out that he used dirty tools, including some that penetrate the skin. Yuck. Then his home that he was being on his mortgage mysteriously burned down. Here’s more in that: https://mobile.twitter.com/kevinnbass/status/1180579764622352389
Anyway, you all need to be careful who you collaborate with. Some people in your world are shadddddyyyyy.
Thanks Mike. I'm a practitioner from Belgium and was trained in the endocannobinoid system by maybe one of the few practitioners in the world who looks at it as the main driver of our health. The endocannabinoid system drives everything: dopamine, GABA & glutamate, endorphins & trauma/pain, anandamide, serotonin, immune system, sleep, bloodsugar, lactate, etc.. For instance GABA protects insuline-sensitivity and production. Even the HPA-axis is driven by the endocannabinoid system. That's why 'adrenal fatigue' is way too downstream to look at as a problem. Just to mention a few examples.
I take 2,000 mg Full spectrum CBD from a reputable supplier that supplies all of the batch test results…Right now I am only taking 3 ml a day and I’m using it for chronic back pain, inflammation, Parkinson’s disease, and I have glaucoma too! I’m overweight but fasting now so hopefully I’ll drop some weight.. Do you have any thoughts on if CBD can affect the carbidopa/levodopa and Azilect medication that I take for my Parkinson’s? I haven’t noticed anything different but I’m new to all this. Thanks and I enjoy your channel.
I had a stroke ,described as an occlusion that affected my cerebellum. Main symptoms are with balance and lots of.other effects. I smoked the and it did help lessen these symptoms. SMOKING did cause me to have some paranoia and raised my b.p. .I use CBd now but I dont get as great an effect .would love to learn more .in layman's terms mlm please .thanks
Please can you do a video on emphysema? Is it true that a low carb diet reduces oxygen requirement and reduces the amount of CO2 produced? Could fasting reduce inflammation and activate stem cells thus improve lung function? Why does lung function continue to decline in those with emphysema despite quitting smoking? What can be done: supplements, foods to avoid and include, essential oils, diffuser/steamers etc? I'm desperate to help my mum get better again 😥
Dude, these videos ARE cool! I've been taking Moxy Mints, a blend of CBD and Sativa. I love them, but I'm no longer getting much of an effect from them-it's like my body adapted?? Plus I need a non-sugar alternative, as I'm strict keto/carnivore now…
It would be great if you did a series on this…word of caution to tjose wanting to try cbd, from my research, I remember reading that cbd can slow down metabolism in the luver…so if you are on medication, , you can run into some trouble…my daughter has a seizure disorder, but I don't have her on anti-seizure medication, I am using cbd full spectrum extract in mct oil…I've had to adjust the dosages a few times to get the seizures to stop, but she's doing great now
There's an interplay between the cannabinoid receptor and FAAH. High FAAH people catalyze endocannabinoids more quickly so the emotional balancing effect of the endocannabinoids is reduced. This gets even worse if you have snps of the CNR1(cannabinoid 1 receptor). High FAAH, low endocannabinoids plus distorted CNR1 function = bad combination. You will have an anxious and stressed phenotype. I don't know much about FAAH and ways to downregulate it, but stress reduction keeps it at baseline so guard your stress levels(pe meditation). Cbd oil increases the cb1 receptor and again stress reduces it so work on your mental fortitude and stress levels. Regulating CRH is a must(this is what stress reduction comes down to), so lots of pleasurable exercise if you're healthy enough, lots of pleasant social interactions and community to keep your oxytocin levels up. Loving kindness meditation also seems to be oxytocinergic so do lots of that(oxytocin downregulates crh). Cold exposure increases endocs. A high fat diet(not the inflammatory corn oil and fructose diet you see in rodent studies that supposedly resembles a healthy balanced diet according to "scientists") though check your apoe4 genotype before going on a high saturated fat diet(fish has my preference). Keep inflammation low(good sleep, good food, low stress). Balancing the nervous system is also key and when it comes down to it, is the sole reason people are into health, because it makes you feel optimal mood and cognitive performance wise. This is too big of a subject to diverge on here, but figure out your snps for the serotonin and dopamine pathways. This means receptors, enzymes(MAOA, COMT, AAAD, etc), transporters(SLC6A pe). Also a high fiber diet(50g per day) for scfa production!
I want to try CBD Oil again for my chronic shoulder pain but I hate feeling groggy and zombie like in the morning. Do you think I was taking too high of a dose previously? I am a 5'7" 129 lb (58 kg) woman who is almost a year into maintenance on keto.

Mike love this and would like more information especially with Alzheimer’s issues, sleep and anxiety! Thank you so much 😊

This is an absolutely amazing video Mike.
I also found this video to be quite informative on the topic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bZb10ZxpBk

Let’s get to the truth.
Good info!

Not sure if ur dog is still around or not. But if she Is highly recommend silver water!!
Please touch on the effect of endocannabinoid on testosterone

Please do more videos on this topic CBD. It is much needed information.
I think a series on how diet, keto, fasting etc. can be used to treat chronic disease such as emphysema would be interesting
How does CBD affect keto and fasting? Does it increase autophagy
I'm sorry to hear about your dog I know how hard it can be to deal with the death and hospice of a loved one 🙁

This is so needed, I would love to have a full series about the endocannabinoid system
Hi Mike. Thanks for sharing. I'm so sorry about Shasta. It's hard letting go. Your family is with me in my prayers. Big hugs!
Bless your sweet heart. The love you had for your fur child is so touching. Pets are family, too.❤💯
You need to slow down dude. You're making me nervous.
Love CBD before bed!
