Chickweed as a Powerful Lymph Cleanser As an edible vegetable, chickweed benefits the body as a cooling and cleansing herb traditionally used by herbalists …
Yes!!! Tis the season. Great inspiration. I use horse manure on my garden and have Chickweed everywhere! Great idea. I usually just eat it while outside but I will try this – also great way to incorporate my over wintered beets into it. I eat cleavers too- another Lymph cleanser. 🙂
Thanks for the great video.. Oh the power of suggestion.. I have been seeing it popping their little heads up, but not enough to gather yet. BUT.. I saw some in my big planter of ginger root. I bring it in my greenhouse for the winter and it dies back.. And I saw some flourishing in there.. 😉 It is my favorite and first herb to start gathering in the spring.. I end up with my whole table full of them to "limp it" over night and make my infusions out of it the next day. Hands down I put that at the top of my favorite and most powerful herbs. Sadly it loses alot of it's potency in drying.. Still makes a great tea for your blends. It was a beautiful salad.. Thanks for taking us along..
Great video thank you for all the close-up of the plants. On some of your videos I was wishing you would take a close-up of a single stem or leave structure. But in this one you do thanks for all your hard work! You are making a difference!
Wow. I was giving it to the horses while cleaning up the garden. Would have never known that humans could benefit from these “weeds.”. Domo arigato, amigo
This looks absolutely delicious!
This is the first time I’ve seen anyone peel capsicum or eat zucchini raw. Thanks for video though looks great!

Yummy 😋😋😋
Imagine if an animal had urinated on the chickweed 3 hours before you prepared it. Yuck! Haha!
Lindy, do you grow most of your own vegetable? Just curious. 🤔
I loved the video!
Super! I always wanted to do this, thanks for the recipe.
Is it ok to use vinegar or baking soda or both to wash/soak veggies in?
Looks like a mighty salad to me …ty
