I'm not a farmer but now live rural with minimal experience with farming/livestock etc but in my humble opinion and in a nutshell, our KIWI farmers and our/their way of life is under attack (in more ways than just this farming/water issue) and will over time be forced into downsizing their farms and eventually sell them on to oversea interests.
