You may have heard about a study where researchers were able to grow lumps of neural tissue that showed measurable activity – a little bit like an actual brain.
Dang it we always get scared! Eventually we have to take these steps why leave it to nations that aren't so squeamish! We'll get left in the dust and even if it did become aware it's just another consciousness, created to aid it's creators. If I was just here to aid a creator I'd think that's pretty cool.
I like this new host, but I feel his delivery is just 'slightly' slow. Am I the only one who plays his videos at 1.25 speed? Oddly, the video and his mannerisms flow more cleanly, too. Almost like the video seems more 3D.
Hey….just a clarification…organoids have about 300-400k cells, not 15600 cells as described. It was used 15600 cells for gene expression analysis to see different cell populations inside the organoid.
Altimers ?
As someone who suffers from partial cortical blindness, I wish the progress on this would happen faster 🙁

He mispronounced Alzheimer's…
These nerve clumps are probably better than most of the candidates for this year’s general election 😑

How about we perfect growing tissues and organs to repair or replace damaged ones in people and make them available to everybody first?
How do you know a rat is in an altered state?
This is scary stuff.
great video, but the host didn't blink once
Great performance Anthony!

new cybertruck be like 1:55
I don't need a backup brain, I need the ability to put my brain in a full-conversion cyborg body. Still waiting on that to come around.
Why is this guy not blinking? D:
I know a lot of people who need a brain. Not for backup. Because they lack an actual brain
Ugh… the backup brain joke got boring so fast, but he kept pushing it.
Btw, what is this "all-timers" that he mentioned around 5:34?
Ya misspelled neuron
w h y y o u s o s l o w
If you swapped out your brain it wouldn't be you so what would be the point?
How do we know we are not all just brains being stimulated by scientists?
Oh, a new person, sweet
Why don't we work on the mind machine interface so we know for sure?
