This Carcinogenic Weed Killer is in Your Food | Towards the Future (Episode 4)
Glyphosate is a carcinogenic herbicide found in many foods, including in some organic foods. It’s highly concentrated in oats. It’s also been found in non-food …
Wait…soy beans too? That's something else that hardly anyone was allergic to before. Perhaps it's the weed killer or perhaps it's the genetic engineering that is causing this.
You can not trust government agencies because you can not trust governments, any of them. Left, right, capitalist, communist, socialist, progressive, conservative…they all lie, they all hide the truth. Power corrupts. The more they get, the more they want.
Interesting that it's at it's highest concentration in wheat products. 20 years ago, very few people were allergic to wheat, now it seems like maybe 1 in 5 people has some form of gluten or wheat intolerance.
Just for your information, glyphosate it is NOT carcinogenic…..it has been labeled a "probable carcinogenic" which means nothing. It has also been stated by the WHO that it is unlikely to pose any risk to humans through food consumption. There has been no "proof" that it is carcinogenic. The reason that it shows up in food is because some farmers are using it non label. Glyphosate was first developed as a water treatment chemical to take the minerals out and purify water. The product has been around and used by farmers since Monsanto reintroduced it in the 70's. Glyphosate is a "herbicide" there are 3 types of pesticides, there is herbicides, which kills plants, there is fungicides which kills fungus, and there are insecticides which kill insects. Every different food product has a different MRL (maximum residual limit). The toxicity level of glyphosate is greater than 5000 mg/kg of body weight, the toxicity of THC found in Marijuana is 40 to 130 mg/kg of body weight. Tree huggers, environmentalists and hippie's can spread all the negative shit they want about it because most people only believe what they hear, but, Glyphosate and GMOs have saved 100s of millions of lives as well as kept millions of tonnes of CO2 out of the atmosphere by keeping agricultural tillage to a minimum. If they chose to fearmonger populations and force governments of the worlds to ban these products, 100s of millions of people will die as well as 100s of millions of tonnes of CO2 will be released into the atmosphere….. I probably ingest more glyphosate in one year than most people are exposed to in a lifetime, and I am not dead yet. Just my humble opinion.
I’m not feeling my oats anymore. Honestly maybe it’s subtle population control and too many people are here needing to be fed. Quantity over quality is always the way to best serve this country of consumers. We the people really don’t have the say in the matter but we do like to have results and get our food on a budget and with transinternational corporations like Monsanto this happens. I’m not going to grow a farm and I’m going to continue to consume cheap groceries till I die of cancer or in an accident most likely because I’m hopeless to needing to eat. You know what’s worse is not having a source of food at all and seeing your children starving to death and seeing yourself decay and mothers making dirt cookies to stop hunger pains. I just appreciate not having to go through that. So I’ll carry on and not fuss about my privilege.
It is used in Australia, it's even advertised on TV. You can buy it for your own gardening purposes.
There was a commercial in the 1950's that said "9 out of 10 doctors recommend smoking for a healthy lung".
Ben and Jerry's was founded by a couple of old hippies, so I'm not surprised that they would be against GMOs and pesticides.

Nice mug!

Interesting, did not know this. Thanks for the info.

Very interesting as always!
