I've posted on David DeMars last two youtube videos – publicy requesting my refund this time and explaining how I'm no longer prepared to receive coaching from him. I've been factual and included the key points that highlight his character.
I think a lot of these u tubers the big channels have lost sight on why they came on there channels! Its not about how many subs they have! Its about helping vunerable scared people. A lot of them have become bigger than there channel!! And David and Kim are a good example of this!
Excellent, the fact you gave examples of what to look for in a dysfunctional person running a channel claiming to be a coach will hit home with many people. My advice is to always pay attention to their narrative and their actions, if at anytime they do not match then be aware that it may be because you are being manipulated.
After recent interactions with supposed coaches from online environments, the problem with this format is that it is actually a very superficial format that people who are capable of faking it, can create compelling online personas and facades. As mentioned by one of the previous comments, seeing how someone responds to negative and/or non-complimentary comments is a base filter one might be able to use. Unfortunately, these don't need to be posted and responses can still be faked. You should write a how-to workbook for empaths to help navigate being a critical client of these coaches since an environment that only requires a fractional view into a person is an ideal hunting ground for narcs and sociopaths.
You have to be so careful who you listen to I got called names by a so-called narc life coach online. Bless you, for your work. xxx There are some fakes out here.
Anyone considering giving their money to an online coach or therapist should practice due diligence and look into not only credentials, but references and transparency. There are so many quacks and charlatans as well as predators out there. You're right. Even those with credentials can be ineffectual at best, predatory at worst. Trust your gut, do your research. Notice how they respond when a commenter disagrees or questions them. Excellent video on how to protect yourself and avoid unscrupulous opportunists. XX♡
Good information. It’s important to have someone who is healed, respects boundaries, doesn’t take things personally (and projects), and can admit when they are wrong.
Don't forget to like the video, leave a comment, 💞 and hit the notification bell. Thanks everyone.

This video should be reposted often. Like a monthly PSA!
