The Means of Production | Sacred Symbols: A PlayStation Podcast, Episode 86
The American publication Bloomberg is typically a reliable source of information, and a recent story within its pages tells an interesting tale. It appears Sony is …
They already confirmed that the current PSVR headset will work with PS5. Now if that is future proof with any new VR games after the next headset comes out is the real question.
Everyone loves Breath of the Wild, I can't stand the inventory, durability and stamina systems. (Probably because I was spoiled by Souls games) Really annoying because I look at the game and see everything I would love to play, yet mechanically fails for me.
Colin really doesn't appreciate the creative outlet that is Dreams. Maybe not so for him but for many, the act of creation and play is fun in and of itself.
Why build a Lego Millennium Falcon when you can buy the actual toy? Because it's fun.
Kinda wild that I wont have to upgrade for years imo. Not excited about crossgen games and will hibernate till exclusively next gen zen2 designed games are saturated. Guessing that takes 3 years cause every publisher ain't leaving 100 million credit cards behind
I really don't like hearing that PS5 might not have PS5 exclusives. It's fine if third party do that, but first party should be pushing the limits, not hamstrung by a weak base console. It could just be the same game that runs better and looks better
Even with games that I absolutely love, I don't necessarily want it to go on for too many hours. I'm playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey and I loved, but it's so time consuming, which ultimately has kind of a negative effect on my lasting impression of the game
All these young kids that are used to playing 100 hour long RPGs after school, on weekends, vacations and summer break are in for a rude awakening when they become adults. Lol. That kind of time doesn’t exist once you have a full-time job and a family.
I beat KOTOR over a 5 day stretch my freshman year of high school. It would probably take me a month nowadays.
Your friends are very lucky to go with you to watch Incubus. Watching them live is at the top of my bucket list. Hopefully they will be playing on a world tour next year somewhere in Europe or at least an interesting city somewhere around the world.
It is absolutely insane, EA sitting on the Burnout IP like a bunch of shitheads, and doing NOTHING with it. Burnout 3 Takedown in 2004 was, and still to this day is the best Arcade racer. How the hell havent they remade B3 yet?! Paradise was awesome, but doesnt come close to the success of the 3rd Burnout in the mid 2000's.
As far as Dragon Quest/long games go, the “play it in chunks” mindset only works if missions (as in, the core gameplay across genres) in the game can be completed quickly. For example puzzles in puzzle games can be completed quickly so a lot can be accomplished in 30mins. But an RPG? 30mins is what, 1 or maybe 2 quests? It’s just not enough time to do much of anything, especially exploring the world. You need at least an hour to make any significant headway.
I won a “land before time” coloring contest, my reward was a free movie rental, littlefoot sticker, and personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut yay late 90’s nostalgia

Colin, have you seen 1917? It was my personal Best Picture last year… With your love of history, it's an absolute must-watch.
If the Green Day, Weezer, Fall Out Boy tour was Nimrod, Blue Album, From Under the Cork Tree it'd probably one of the best concerts of all time

I haven't tuned into CLS in a while, is it just Podcasts now? No history stuff?
Outriders was announced last E3, it's just sort of re-revealed now, also looks a lot like Gears and Destiny had baby, if it reviews well I'll try it.

Snowpiercer is a cheesy pile of shit

If journey can win goty, why not untitled goose game? The gdc is supposed to be about innovation, and like it or not goose game fits the bill
PSVR really needs to replace the PlayStation move controllers as they are so ancient and aren't fit for purpose

Troy is an underrated gem. Pitt rules as Achilles and Brian Cox chews up the scenery as Agamemnon.
