Why I'm NOT Buying Tesla Stock, Bitcoin, Aurora Cannabis – Stock Market For Real Investors
Stock market investing for real investors is something done over a life cycle of investing, always keeping compounding over the long-term in mind and focusing …
What’re your thoughts on SPCE? I am in an investing club at my school and SPCE is in the majority of portfolios. I can’t wrap my head around paying $5-6bln for a business with no revenue.
I do question if our financial system will survive another 70 years??? Decision makers have a vested interest that it does continue I think that is our best hope.
What im wondering is, how much new money has to be pumped into TSLA stock to propel it from a 40B stock to 150B? Would it take 100% the change in market cap? 30%? 10%? If 30% of the US population each buys a share of TSLA, would that be enough? Getting this right could maybe predict the top in this rally/squeeze or whatever you call it and that can be quite profitable. What im seeing is a lot of TSLA retail bulls have no business investing. E.g. they think the success of spaceX and potential of starlink is a reason to buy TSLA. Or TSLA is a world leader in solar and energy storage and thats a reason to buy
Thank you, Sven. One of the Best videos I watched on YouTube. Boring is SMART !! Many Years from now We can laugh and smile because we went with compounding growth with yields. Oh yeah, Boring is Sweet, Sven. Very grateful to You for this video.
Value for Warren is cola or chewing gum. He missed a great deal of apple, would not be surprised he bought tesla in Q1 so it we go 1500 end of the year. We ll see. Value is what people value not necessarily you.
Did not get arguments against tesla. Nobody is saying it will grow at that high rate forever. However multiple positive factors make 800 not that crazy just high. Also if the next 10 years is the era of disruption , tell you the secret. do not loose money means the upside 😂😂😂 you just make assumptions what loosing is and see only one side. and that is what warren wanted to say.
It's possible to make money trading all the stocks you mentioned, but it's not investing if you don't get paid to hold them. Great video as always, thanks Sven!
Did you invest in Apple or Amazon early? If you didn't, then you don't know about growth investing. Value investing is just one approach. I call it the Scrooge approach to investing. I realize your lack of understanding of the Tesla product and company when you mix it with weed and bitcoin. I started investing in Tesla in mid 2019 when I realized the technical advantage of Tesla over the competition and shared its principles and projections. It was never a get rich quick scheme. My investment goal was long term (over 10 years) and never dreamed the stock price explosion. Nobody can predict the stock price in the short term, but I have the conviction of Tesla future and I have invested 90 percent of my portfolio in Tesla. I don't know what kind of PhD you are, but I am sure you are not an engineer like myself. You don't have to be an engineer to know where to invest, you need to be an engineer to understand Tesla's future. I'll be back to comment in 5 years. Then we can compare notes.
This makes great sense !! Could you please make videos on Indian stock market , I am looking for ITC Indian comapany !!!! It is having great free cashflows close to half billion dollar !! Need your advise!!
Hi Sven, some brokers nowadays allow for the purchase of fractional shares of stock. I am a BRKB shareholder with holdings <$300k, and would theoretically prefer to hold the equivalent amount of a fraction of BRKA. Can you think of any disadvantages to this approach? While BRKA has more voting rights than the ownership equivalent in BRKB, there may be more counter party risk associated with owning fractional shares. BRKA may outperform BRKB over the long term because of differences in voting rights, particularly after Warren Buffet “retires to play bridge” and potentially converts his shares into BRKB. Any thoughts on this subject?
am in 50% Gold, not as traditional investment but alternative to holding USD. Sold stocks this year that hit sell targets and nothing I like to invest (or increase holding of). Believe Gold's growth is fueled by growing monetizing and World wide debt. Willing to wait for better investment with the 50% of investment accounts.
Bitcoin is an uncorrelated asset with asymmetric risk/return profile. It is not a hot stock or the next big thing, but rather a line in the sand with a proven track record and a network gaining more strength every single day. Comparing it to Tesla, Aurora or whatever is honestly absurd. That said, I still like your content.
Thanks for your content and transparency. Really appreciate it. Keep on providing great analysis and content and you will definitely compound thousand of subscribers! Liked and subscribed 😉
Sven what do you think about investing in stocks who lost 90% of their value? Speculating with $50 in each of those small companies. If i lose it its ok, if they go back to their old price i become millionaire. Does that sound crazy? Tried to find videos on such stocks but couldnt find
Buffet once said, In one's lifetime he might see three truly great businesses and investing in any one of those three is enough to become wealthy.
I believe Tesla is such a company. When you find a truly great business in a sea of pump and dump momentum stocks, you don't trade it, you invest in it. It is an opportunity of a lifetime and I am not selling a single share!
I'm a bit skeptical about doubling every 4 years being described as "slow compounding". That's 25 doublings over 100 years, or a factor 2^25 = 33554432. Something like that is surely not sustainable over the long term; it's the same impossible "you'll own everything" effect.

In 10 Years you will know who the idiot is.
