You can set your mind to whatever you want to, but if your shins are broken (split) and foot are broken too, you won't be able to walk. It has nothing to do with your mind!
OMG WTF is this guys deal or is it really these shitty media outlets shamelessly and falsely inflating his accomplishments for their own gain. If so he needs to say something stat! We all know the main story is that he’s a SEAL, BUT there’s so many inconsistencies with the story after that, one story is that he failed and went through BUDS hell week 5 times, then I saw a video this morning where he was saying he went through BUDS 3 times. Then looking at the intro to this video where it says he’s a former Army Ranger when he was NEVER in the Army, then another video/article where he was an Air Force TACP, and left because it wasn’t hard enough, I also saw a video where they said he went through air force para rescue training and many more examples. Either he needs to speak up (which is what I wish he would do) or these retarded media outlets correct themselves, which is doubtful because some will say anything for views, but bottom line they’ve got to stop all these inconsistencies about his past. If anything I’d like to see his Air Force DD214 or his AFSC shred out for the 1CX (TACP) career field. I love this guy, but at the same time there’s too many people who look up to him and are inspired by these videos, for them to not know the whole story, which currently amounts to false hope and unrealistic expectations. I know someone on here has noticed these inconsistencies too.
ohh Gaggins men ! you're my inspiration brother! I listened to your book , most of your talk on talk shows. I used to be lazy and skinny but today I run, cardio, weight lift, read everyday. I think I'm leaving at best, I couldn't be happier and I think I owe you big time. Thank you Gaggin for being such Extraordinary and make us even Extraordinary.
the most important is do something that you like or admire …. most of pro dart players arent in good physical shape but they have iron mind … darts playing is 90 % mind set and 10 % physical trowing talent … you need to focus on the real thing wich will make you beter in what you want to perform ! performing in something need passion ……….
At my age I've been uncomfortable enough . Farming, factories, 6 yrs military, 10 yrs self employed. So I'll set here comfortable while you're being uncomfortable lmbo. But the difference is Mr.Goggins, I AGREE WITH YOU COMPLETELY!!!!
Thanks, David! We all have our very own particular Valley of Death we need to get through and every day we need to win that mental battle to run the distance to our destiny. Even if our goal doesn't require us to move a muscle, we must decide to make the effort, physical or mental, or stay in our comfort zone. Really, it's a choice between life and death, fast or slow.
In the spring of 2006 I went to Special Forces Assessment and quit during the night land navigation course because I couldn't hit my star course points, I wish I had the mind I have now and I would be wearing that green beret.
I think many people (including myself) tend to always associate Goggin's lesson about pushing yourself into uncomfortable situations to grow, exclusively with physical activities. But its just as important to get outside your comfort zone in other aspects of your life as well, taking on new challenges for personal growth, for example, going back to school, accepting a new position at work, learning a new skill, etc. The beauty of what Goggins is teaching us is that its really applicable to any and all aspects of your life!

Navy seals are trained to kill PEOPLE. What does strengthening your mind to kill people do to you ?
This makes so sense..
