As the laser is referred to as a solution commonly in the comments, I want to add that I had the laser surgery twice and didn't have any success with it. Adapting as best as you can is the only way at the moment.
i can see them if i lay down looking at the ceiling i had really bad far sided vision i got lasik eye surgery last year and my vision is above 20/20 and its amazing but my eyes are slightly drier then origionally but i can swim jump flip not worry bout glasses but eye floaties i see alot they look like viruses
Hi guys. I started noticing floaters last year and its really depressing when I see them everyday. Somehow I learned how to ignore them by diverting my attention to some other things but there are still times that I couldn't afford not to get annoyed. I have another concern, I am sure that I dont experience this before, whenever I read a text or paragraph from a computer or cellphone screen most especially white text on a black background, i notice an afterimage of horizontal lines like an image retention on my retina. It will go away after 30 seconds or so after reading that on screen text. I am 34 by the way. Anyone here who is experiencing that too? Thanks in advance.
When I had first noticed my gigantic eye floaters, I was 35. Most eye specialists told me not to worry and ignore them but boy, I had such a HARD time trying to ignore these huge 'cobwebs' floating around my field of vision 24/7!! I was stuck and I am still stuck with this stressful situation with no hope of any true promising therapy yet to transpire. It's been 20 years since then and of recent, new 'cob-webs' have suddenly appeared! I have grown depressed and honestly feel hopeless considering the fact that even having any modern eye floater operation namely vitreolysis, but it is dangerous. It may cause retinal detachment and will cost you a fortune! Ophthalmic surgeons MUST soon try and find a SAFE, concrete solution/therapy for this most distressing eye condition. I just hope they themselves had it so they can experience our agony and sheer anguish!! Perhaps then they would take this seriously and begin saving lives…!!
Can u guys edit this without the lame jokes next time?? God!,it’s such a serious matter, some of us can’t accept this condition & you people over there gesturing
How long do they last 4? I've had one in my left eye for exactly 3 weeks and have had 2 dilated eye exams. I am nearsighted and in the high 30s, any suggestions or tips to prevent them again or no?
Bates, almost a hundred years ok said, ophthalmology had stagnated. Sites made leaps and bound in restoring hearing, yet eyesight absolute 'nothing' other than put up with it.
Such a dull and inconsiderate discussion of a problem that can have a significant negative impact on the quality of life of many people – a scientifically proven fact. The behaviour of the hosts is disgusting and the consultant lacks knowledge of the subject. Radical vitrectomy is not the only option. Less invasive surgeries with smaller caliber instruments are becoming increasingly more common. While those Mayo "experts" giggle, the science of ophthalmology is moving towards safer and more effective measures to potentially help millions of people.
I had a filler treatment on my left eyelid to lower it to the same level as my droopy eyelid. This was done by Robert Goldberg at UCLA. Ever since I have a BIG chunk (not a stringy floater like most describe) floating right in front of my vision. It is a very big piece that limits what I can do. I cannot find my wife in a room full of people on a bad day. It is very very bad and not at all what people describe floaters to look like. I went back to Dr. Goldberg and he assured me that it cannot be the procedure that caused. I can tell you that I've never had a floater in my life EVER but IMMEDIATELY after the injection my eye was bloodshot and I saw that chunk on the bottom of my eye. At first, I thought it was blood bleeding into my iris but after 2 weeks that chunk I saw at the bottom of my eye was directly in front of my pupil. It has been there ever since. I went to get a 2nd opinion and they all told me that everything is fine inside my eye. No detachments no nothing. I'm really frustrated because it does not make sense that such a big chunk would just detach out of nowhere right after the treatment. I'm very certain that bleeding caused it. I'm certain that it is blood from a burst artery. The question I have is how long will it take for the body to break this down IF this is even possible?
EDIT:
YOu mentioned that floater can be blood vessels. That is exactly what I think is the case with me. So how long will these blood cells stay?
We are in 2019 and people have quiet marked year they will be going to Mars, so expanding internet connection and technology. Ok wait there is Tinnitus and Eye Floaters too.

What if you have an eye condition called blepharitis can that also have something to do with eye floaters too?
The higher the prescription is determined by how nearsighted a person may be in either eye or both.
The were all annoying, and I'm not talking about floaters.
Is this video a joke? When did Mayo start hiring actors from The Onion?
I noticed my first eye floater at age 9. They have drove me crazy ever since!!!
Eat pineapple. Can't hurt and has good anecdotal results. It's anti inflammatory anyway.
He shouldn't laugh. Nontraumatic conditions can wear you down. Unlike surgery, nutrition can heal the body on molecular levels. Drs. don't study nutrition. They practice medicine/Rx, diagnoses, and procedures. Pts. don't want to hear about food addictions and clean eating, so why waste time? Don't bother asking what you should eat. It's what you should eliminate. Diabetics have a hard time altering their diet. Most "healthy" people are not trying to go down that crazy, guru path. The lady laughs on a health issue like this. Its not a good way. This doc doesn't give any hope.

Dark mode is a must for me because white backgrounds remind me of just how many f'ing floaters I have.
I’m 14 and I have eye floaters and it really scares me in going permanently blind 😓

wtf is so funny? idiots!
Liquid MSM drops help significantly (consult with your ophtalmologist prior to using these drops).
One of the cause is Myopia+Dry Eyes. Get an OTC eye drop for dry eyes and your floaters will reduce. It works. I've tried it.
I dont think this lady knows what a floater is. They dont go away.
What about floaters and glaucoma?
See medical medium book “celery juice” for the cause. It’s the ebv according to the medical medium and the aflotoxin of the ebv causes this.
See also vit d3 and magnesium and omega 3 deficiency ! Very critical.
Use turmeric also for better seeing.
I wanna know if specialists are doing their research for it instead of joking about. We are suffering. This is life changing psychologically
A lot of Flying dots are visible bio energy.

At least the ophthalmologist is trying to be serious. Nothing funny about floaters, it’s hard to even drive!
Can an increase of eye floaters cause itchiness in the eye? I’m so concerned 😟
