Gypsy belonged in some type of mental health institution or something, not prison. She wasn't a dumb person, very calculated actually considering the crime but she still wasn't all the way " there". Her whole life was a fantasy even her relationship. I guess the fact that she lied about the incident afterwards caused the jury to make their decision because obviously she knew it was wrong. HOWEVER, it easy to say what could have been done looking from the outside in, watching the Act helped me understand that Munchausen is deeper than just seeking attention. That disorder can also inflict guilt, shame and also fear. She was afraid what would happen to her if she told on her mother. It's terrible what happened to that women despite of what she did. I do believe deep down deedee was a loving and kind women. Love can be a strong strong addiction and as we can see it can turn tragic when it's not given/received properly depending on someones already fragile emotional and mental state.. Thin line b/w love & hate. Sad but true.
She knew what she was doing. Just playing innocent. I do feel bad for the girl, but she didn't have to go that route, and it's sad to hear that she now knows that she could have done something different than to have her mother killed. Deedee did the same to her mother, when she wanted her own independence. She didn't feed her mother for two weeks when her mother was on her deathbed, so she basically killed her own mother so she could have her own freedom as well. This is a tragic story and I don't believe Gypsy is all that innocent, even after all she has been through with Deedee.
I have been following this story since it's beginning (in the media obviously.) I love this girl. I want the best for her. They could have sent her to a state hospital or an independent living program but it is what it is, she's more free in prison than she was with her mom, and that is heartbreaking to me. As a mother, I am heartbroken, because I could never imagine doing the sort of thing to your child that Claudina did. But that of course is because I do not suffer from an attention-getting disease. I will keep praying for her, that she will receive retribution funds for the abuse she endured, that shell start a whole new life with her father, and that the notoriety of the case doesn't cause her harm in the long run. God bless you Gypsy!
As much as I'd love to watch this, I already pay for YouTube red, I'm sure as hell not going to pay to watch a video. Sad that money is so important to people. There are other ways to monetize a video.
And that guy Nick definitely should NOT be in prison. A mental institution for sure!!!!
