E-Cigarettes are everywhere. Vaping has become so ubiquitous that “vape” was Oxford Dictionaries word of the year in 2014. Today, Danielle looks at how and …
I normally like your videos and feel they give a good view of all sides, but this really seems one sided and more of an anti-juul ad than an origins of e-cigarettes.
Flavored juices were NOT to entice minors. This suggests that ADULTS don't like and enjoy flavors… My husband hates the tobacco flavor especially since he has quite smoking cigarettes…
Not in standard nicotine vaping … 100 percent of those were thc related .. and listen dear those no glass in organic cotton .. do you even study your stories??? Or just ramble hear say
Trying to watch this and give ya the benefit of the doubt but less than a min in it sounds as if ur not presenting me.with a factual based origin.. but ill keep trying lets see …
The perception that vapes are ‘healthy’ isn’t just a problem for the users. People vape even more than they actually smoke, so it’s impossible to escape 2nd hand smoke. Every. Single. College. I’ve attended has been “smoke free” yet there’s always someone vapping up a storm near me. I’m pretty asthmatic, so certain things trigger my lungs that might not bother others (I once went into a small attack when someone i was walking pass exhaled a giant scented cloud). I usually ask them to please to stop, but they still give me an annoyed look, since they think it doesn’t have any side effects
I smoked cigarettes for 30 years. I was one of the few smokers that didn't want to quit.
My husband bought me an alto vape pen, it was 99 cents for the pen and charger, the pods come in packs of 2 for about 10 bucks.
I don't know about health benefits, and I don't have access to any medical care, anyway, but I can breathe so much better. I didn't realize how bad I felt until vaping painlessly and seamlessly almost completely replaced cigarettes for me.
Two pods last me about 10 days. And I vape a lot. I would never have believed that I would ever get down to just 4 or 5 cigarettes a day. Vaping is a kind of miracle for smokers.
The tobacco use survey has shown their isn't a youth epidemic and that most youth vapers started with traditional cigarettes. Kids are always going to try what they're not supposed to have. Might as well ban flavoured alcohol too since that's obviously sold to entice kids to drink.
We don’t say e-cigarettes are safe, just safer. Just like cars are not safe, but wearing your seatbelt makes you safer in that car. It’s about harm reduction for ADULT smokers who has had no success with pharmaceutical aids. If kids are vaping nicotine or thc, tell their parents to step up and do their jobs and keep an eye on what their kids are doing.
We all understand your target audience is teens and young adults and you’re trying to impress upon them that vaping isn’t harm-free, but you really have to back off of the fear mongering. Vaping IS safer than smoking, it IS a legitimate option for people to switch away from tabacco, and most of the health risks associated with vaping have more to do with additives than simply vaping nicotine. Nicotine is also still an insanely addictive drug that will turn people into fiends, perpetually stressed out, looking for their fix. These facts matter, but if you misrepresent the reality then young adults are just going to dismiss your entire position as flawed and they will double down on their choice. Fear mongering didn’t work for DARE in the 90s and it’s obviously not working with vaping.
I’m not sure if this is universal to all schools in the United States, but at least at my middle school I don’t really recall my teachers talking about vapes and e cigarettes the same way they talked about smoking. In health class they would hammer into our minds that smoking was bad, and would lead to a bad life. However, when they talked about vaping they just said that it might be better than smoking, and that it could help smokers quit. This was a few years ago now, so I could just be remembering wrong, but I wonder if that lack of an overly negative view on vaping allowed for people my age to be more open to vaping
Seems like the government needs to get with the times. People like drugs, they always have and they always will. Common sense policy should focus on harm reduction. I personally chew nicotine gum. It's relaxing, helps me focus, and helps me maintain my weight. We should be focusing on developing a vaping solution and heating/voltages that produce a vapor with no harmful vapors.
I normally like your videos and feel they give a good view of all sides, but this really seems one sided and more of an anti-juul ad than an origins of e-cigarettes.

This is basically a paid anti vaping ad. With a bunch of misinformation.
Flavored juices were NOT to entice minors. This suggests that ADULTS don't like and enjoy flavors… My husband hates the tobacco flavor especially since he has quite smoking cigarettes…
2:34 Pretty sure that guy was the inspiration for BJ Blazkowicz's face.
Herbert A. Gilbert? Pretty good, but I know of a Lester Mester, a Robert Probert, and a Phil Pikel.
Not in standard nicotine vaping … 100 percent of those were thc related .. and listen dear those no glass in organic cotton .. do you even study your stories??? Or just ramble hear say
They do provide a healthier alternative… not healthy but a harm reducing alternative … science.. read up and maybe re do this story
Trying to watch this and give ya the benefit of the doubt but less than a min in it sounds as if ur not presenting me.with a factual based origin.. but ill keep trying lets see …

Oh my god, I love this woman!
A few months ago, my boyfriend saw a Juul commercial on Cartoon Network. In the middle of the day. Like wtf
I want that shirt
I smoked cigarettes for 30 years. I was one of the few smokers that didn't want to quit.

Mock it, but I know multiple people who used it to stop smoking. They no longer even vape.
The tobacco use survey has shown their isn't a youth epidemic and that most youth vapers started with traditional cigarettes. Kids are always going to try what they're not supposed to have. Might as well ban flavoured alcohol too since that's obviously sold to entice kids to drink.
And ps….. vaping thc is not the same thing as vaping nicotine. Two completely different things. Apples and oranges

If flavored e-cigarettes should be removed because of their appeal to children, I need to see that same energy for flavored vodka.
