I *TRIED* reading Booktubers' Favourite Books of 2019… 📖🤷♀️ | ivymuse [CC]
For this video I chose two books by some of my favourite booktubers from their “Best Books of 2019” videos, to see how our tastes match and if I can find new …
A missing person is supposed to be normal police contact even in America; you're right 🙂 Assuming there aren't additional qualifying factors (physical/emotional danger or juvenile under 12) But a lot of people don't know, so the 911 folk just transfer them to the correct people.🤷♀️
Really sad you didn't like lock every door, it was also one of my favs for the year :p just goes to prove that we don't all enjoy the same things, otherwise it would be boring 🙂 Skyward was amazing, also gave it 5 stars ♥️
I think if they had told the police about the abuse after his death, they would have been telling the police they all had motive for pre-meditated murder which results in a more serious sentence.
I think If We Were Villains mirrors a lot of the beats of the plays that the group is performing at the time, and a lot of themes that Shakespeare liked to explore in his work. So I agree that a lot of the characters weren't 'realistic' in the way they handled things, but neither really was Hamlet or Macbeth, etc. Most people don't blindly stab someone through a curtain but Hamlet thought it was fine lol. It's not everyone's cup of tea though, I get/respect that!
Regarding memory, I recall events with sight, sound, smell, and feel included. Sometimes even taste. I don't even have to have an emotion attached to the moment. I suspect memory is not simple in many ways. I can't speak to remembering something exactly the same way over and over again.
Maybe you can choose 4 or 5 different booktubers all time favorite books and do something similar this. I wouldn't mind hearing what you think about some of my all time favorite books
9:40 same, I kind of tried to ignore it but still, I just kept being reminded of the Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O. The books may not be that same but if they're going to bend the laws of physics, I would rather they do it with magic.
i completely understand what you’re saying about if we were villains but that situation (minus the death & violence) genuinely happened in my friend group so it does happen! someone we were friends with for nearly 2 years actually did turn on us like a switch in a similar way.
Omg its the start of the video and i am already loving this video soo much! awww shame you didn't like On Luna Time, I wanted to check it out cuz of Merphy as well! I still might! Also I wanted to check The Troop but after you talking about that scene I do not think i will be able to handle that so I think I will actually take it off my TBR 😐 So glad you loved Bunny and Skyward because those are 2 books I really wanna read! This video was great! I really enjoyed it! I hope you do more videos like this in the future (even tho I will literally watch anything you upload)
29:06 I’m pretty sure you can use 911 to report a missing child or minor. With an adult I think it’s the local police after a 24 hour wait. I could be wrong though.

LOL on the english subs at 40:32
I didn’t like The Troop either lol. I have been afraid to try Riley Sager after dnfing The Final Girls.

People are realistically stupid.
Yay I just discovered you tonight and I'm glad. I like the way you talk about books. Also that accent!!!😍😂
The troop seems interesting but I'm not sure about the body horror! I do really want to read Skyward though
I dnfed If we were villains.
I enjoyed this video. Thank you for sharing

I agree with Lock Every Door! It annoyed me but at the same time I enjoyed it maybe because I saw things coming so I got the "I WAS RIGHT" moment =)
