Asking a recurring question here. In previous videos you recommend breaking a fast specifically with a bone broth, apple cider vinegar, MCT oil type of beverage. Would this still apply as a source of lean protein? Maybe lead with a salty cinnamon based tea?

Our forefathers ate meat primarily. They ate as much they could and then they didn't until they made another kill. When they hunted another animal, they ate it. Why do we need to be calculative about breaking a fast? Why not regular food (carnivore)?
Hi Thomas, Love your videos. If you can upload a video discussing the best times to do 16:8. The reason is there are some folks that prefer skipping the dinner that is have the eating window between 8am to 4pm.
Did my first 49 hour fast ( water, coffee, green tea and Redman mineralized sea salt). Felt great and high energy during 5 hour indoor bouldering session. Break fast: medium rib eye first hour, then slowly ate sautéed spinach and whole white baby potatoes with sea salt, cilantro and black pepper. 🤘Plenty 9.5 ph alkali water.

I usually break my fast after my workout with a protein isolate shake with a tbsp of almond butter to keep insulin low. My question is regarding the other meals, specifically when it comes to my 20% carb intake. As an EMS pilot, I sometimes work from 8am to 8pm and sleep from 12-5pm. Is it better for me to allow my insulin to spike just before I sleep (12pm) or before I start my fast (5pm)?

My question is this: in the video you talk about breaking a fast with lean protein but the SuperFat Nut Butter that you recommend for breaking a fast is high fat. Have I misunderstood something? Personally I LOVE drinking coffee with heavy cream. Is there ever a good time for coffee with heavy cream? It is my favorite way to break a fast but I dont think it is necessarily a good way to break a fast. Your thoughts? Thanks!
I thought he said we were supposed to break the fast with rice cakes if we weren't on KETO. And in another video he said to break it with MCT oil. Clear as mud?
You mentioned to break fast with good fats such as bulletproof bone broth.. wait 30-60 mins n then have a meal.. I’ve been following that n hmmm gained weight.. I switch this up now.. thanks for the tip

Would boiled eggs work? I don't do lean protein as I'm also keto. I was thinking of doing a lemon cinnamon drink then eggs before training.

Can you break a fast with sausage and eggs? That's what I was gonna do. It has protein and sodium that should lower cortisol.

Wouldn't lean protein cause a greater insulin spike than protein with a higher fat content?
