Shawn Ryan Show #002 Former Navy SEAL/BUDS Instructor Travis Kennedy
In this episode Shawn Ryan sits down with Travis Kennedy, a former Navy SEAL, BUD/S instructor, and currently the CEO of KDS. We start off discussing the …
It's hard to have to disagree on the Solemani thing because it easily comes across as critique/disapproval on the rest of the interview and the character of the men involved. I say this solely about that one Solemani issue:
All of this shit is for Israel, not for America. If you know how geopolitics work, our foreign policy revolves around "our greatest ally". Everyone else on earth knows this but us. They had prior knowledge of the Twin Tower attacks, they didn't say shit, in fact Netanyahu said 9/11 was "good for Israel". We've been over there for almost 20 years. Our destabalization of Egypt, Syria, and Lybia has resulted in mass 3rd world imigration into Europe. None of this benefits America.
Why do so many of our Congressmen have dual citizenship in Israel? Why isn't AIPAC registered as a foreign lobby? Why doesn't Israel have to register as a nuclear armed nation? Why was PNAC all neo-Con Zionists? Why does the Israeli lobby get whatever they want from every President, left or right? Sheldon Adelson? Jared Kushner? Henry Kissinger? There's so much more to this than "X was bad, he had to go, hard choices".
And it's always impossible to have this conversation with other vets because they take the revelation of the US/Israeli govs (nearly the same thing at this point) using us as "are you saying my friends died for nothing!" (as if that's true or that I prefer this situation) And because of this the guys, like us, who got used, unwittingly continue to support more guys getting used (and worse).
It's been nearly 20 years, guys. We need to wisen the fuck up about our foreign policy and it's foreign and domestic influencers because this shit is never going to stop. It's the age of information, everything I said can be verified. Seriously, America's longest war and we still have Zionist lobbyists trying to start another one (and calling it Anti-Semetic if you refuse to). Just the shit alone they've done to keep us ensnared there should be enough to piss off any combat vet. How many "moderate rebel" groups have we armed to keep trying to destabilize the region? How many proxy armies now exist? How many more nations are involved since before the 'Arab Spring'? How many foreign nations are now in Syria within accidental striking distance of one another?
We've gained nothing positive yet we've incurred loss, trauma, death, the European invasion crisis, Trillions in debt, loss of basic domestic freedoms (Yeesh, that Patriot Act alone..), a destabilized and uncertain Middle East that is even more dangerous now because we took out the National figures that held the region together, and oddly enough we have more Muslims in the US and Europe now than we did before 9/11 (and they even have more rights than us because they're protected minorities).
The combat veteran community needs a come to Jesus moment in how we view how all of this has turned out and where it's going.
Shawn, your interview technique (demeanor, cadence, knowing how to remain silent when it seems too quiet for too long, etc.) just gets better with each hour on camera. Really, really good. You’re a natural. So great to watch these long interviews!
Excellent interview, I love this channel ! God bless Shaun and keep them coming sir. ( to the haters that disliked this interview, stick to watching pornhub in your mom’s basement……) 😎🇺🇸
Hey Shawn great show keeps getting better.. I would suggest maybe looking into using skype or discord for when your having friends call in. Instead of having to hold a phone up and the audio would be better. Of course as always love the content keep up the hard work. Thank you for your service.
Part of me wanted to join ever since I was young (31 with 4 kids now) but I wanted to be here for my dad helping him on the farm. so I joined the volunteer FD at 17. I just have a drive, I want to help people. I can't explain it. But looking back on my life now I feel like I missed out on something not joining.
This is so cool to hear a SEAL interview a SEAL. Been reading the books since i was in the (surface) Navy in the 90s. So fortunate to have this view into the reality of the teams and how much they downplay the sacrifice they must go through. I wish i'd been that driven that young. Thanks for sharing the stories. It's inspirational.
I was lucky on Land Nav….. There were like 30 of us out of 250 that got to go to "Foot Maintenance" on the second day because we made our 5 points on the first day and didn't have to retrain…. About seeing other's quit, if you let yourself think well this "stud" just quit, then you are justifying your weakness…. I was selected because of 4 words, "IT CAN'T LAST FOREVER"…. And don't think that just because you aren't a grunt or a P.T. stud, that you can't make it…. I was a Prior service 28 yr. old Diesel Mechanic that made it…. Roster # 166 class 09-11
Good shit my man. Don’t mind those thumbs down people, they’ll be callin soon enough to ask you what type bag you use for your med kit and what size tampon they should use to fill it.
Hey dude do you have any experience working with the French foreighn legion ?

Kick ass show
Travis is a real hero. You can see the passion, because of him getting choked up at times. I can relate to that, and appreciate it. Great show.
These shows are FANTASTIC!!!!! Can't wait for more!! Great work Shawn, Thanks!!!
Thanks guys. Another unique & fascinating look into a whole different world. Thank you both for your service and good luck on your entrepreneurship.

It's good to hear that Shawn is having success. It's well deserved. Anyone else notice that Shawn looks really healthy and happy lately?

You should see if you can get Jonny Kim on your podcast. He seems very determined from being a Harvard graduate, Navy Seal, and NASA qualified.
Love your show and thank you immensely for your service to our country.
Love the show brother
As an Army vet going into Law Enforcement here soon, I’d be more than honored to take lessons from Travis.
