Happy 2020! Today’s video is all about my most used makeup products of 2019. After looking at everything I own, here are the best of 2019 for me when it comes …
I'm so happy watching this video, you light up the screen and makes this year feel like one where individualized minimalism will take us back to enjoying the things we really love.
For the past four years or so my makeup consisted of Aveda mostly and some MAC eyeshadows, but in 2019 I branched out a bit and fell in love with some new and old loves heheh … new is Nars. I know it has been around for ages, but I just never got into the brand, until I got a wonderful mossy green eyeshadow. Loved it so much I got me some other single shadows as well. Then I discovered the very cheap Italian brand Kiko Milano. With them it's hit and miss. Lots of products that don't measure up to the luxury brands, especially their brow pencil is horrible. But the eyeshadows are amazing. Very well pigmented, diverse and longlasting. Nail polish is awesome as well, I switched from OPI to them. And speaking of brow pencils, I switched from Anastasia to Benefit, a week ago lol, so technically not a 2019 change, but I think it's a 2020 keeper 😁 … lastly, after close to a decade I rekindled my love affair with Guerlain. The L'Essentiel got me back into foundations … I don't do a full coverage, but I like to even out a bit of redness and emerging dark spots on my cheeks and nose and for me the formula is amazing. Once it sets the skin feels soft and the product just melts into your skin. And on me at least it looks as good at the end of the day as it did in the morning. I also got me a Kiss lipstick and I had forgotten how good their lipsticks are. It also made me rummage around in my cabinet where I found the good old Meteorites pearls, which I had long neglected, but kept well over time and now once again perfectly set my foundation. And maybe a PS for a product that is not exactly makeup, but which just makes me feel good and I have just purchased a second bottle of, the Caudalie Beauty Elixir.
My fav/most used were Chanel lumiere velvet foundation (esp during summer when I’m super oily) and the hourglass Ambient unlocked from 2018 December … gotta try your favs, sounds amazing!
I love the pixi H2O skintint! I also run more on the oily side but slowly getting dryer as I age and started using tretinion. I love using it during every season except during summer but I live in a very hot, humid area and I work a lot outside during those months. It's very hydrating and the texture is so different. I've only been using tower 28 beach please blushes for a couple months but I am obsessed!!! I have used them every single day since I got them. They last all day, perfect cream blush.
I have had a reawakening to the fresh sugar lip tints this year! I cannot stop wearing them. I've also been into coverfx powder foundation dusted over my sunscreen for a lighter look, but ills have to try the Charlotte tillbury powder. I got into the nudestix tint and am wondering if the pixi is a dupe?
A more recent favorite for me has been j* highlight in peach goddess 😍
Hi Serein! I love the CT compact powder, the Cover FX palette is a big fave of mine too. Ohhh that Kosas cream shadow is beautiful! I have one of their lipsticks which I love. Thanks for sharing! Happy 2020! Much love, Debbie 💖
I'm trying to think of my top makeup product for the year but instead I can only think of a category. Cream products! 2019 for me was the year I really discovered cream blushes and bronzers, I got one of each from Kokie, Nudestix and Milk Makeup and really love them. I know they don't last as long as powders though so I won't be buying any this year so I can try to finish these up but will definitely get more next year once those expire!
Great I want get my makeup cleaner , my sensitive skin needs better alternatives. I absolutely love rms beauty concealer but I am looking for an option without coconut . I am just waiting for my Ere Perez concealer which doesn’t have coconut on it y hope that this one can replace my rms concealer. Cheers from Australia.
If only we could try everyone's favourites wouldn't that be great! One of my favourites this year is the Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk lip liner, I know I'm super late to the game but now I want to try all her products!
Mine is the Nyx Eyebrow Pencil….i love it 😊 its nothing big but i really love this Eyebrow Pencil 😌 the Velvet Lip Tint looks exciting…i need to Google now 😜
Heeey, I love this type of videos!! I am really interested in clean beauty and maybe will focus on that on my channel in 2020.. I am struggling with my channel and stopped for a while but somehow I cannot give up on it because it is my passion.. complicated.. waiting for your next video!! 🤗🤗
Lilah b Aglow face mist😍😍😍. Also, I can't get enough of the Vita Liberata Beauty Blur. Alone or layered with any other face product, it gives life to the skin.
Enjoyed watching the video, Serein ❤️ I loved using the CT powder too.. few other products I loved using in 2019 were CT lipstick in stoned rose, nars liq blush in luster and bare minerals tinted moisturizer😊
Great video Serein! I love talking about things we repetitively use. I definitely emptied out the Fitglow concealer and the Han Concealer because I used them both so much.
I think the item I used the most last year was Tata Harper’s resurfacing serum. I read it’s like a multi-vitamin for your face!
