The problem with the equity fight is that literally no one is actually doing it while these giant corporations are literally taking over the game in every legal state as they lay the foundation for controlling the markets in emerging states. This is true in Chicago, Detroit, Flint, and everywhere on the East Coast. It is truly the evolution of the Pot Tax fixing all our problems talking points when people realized that pot taxes is not the answer to the giant holes blown in the budgets by tax breaks for rich people. Also while Democrats (mainly) are using this Equity talking point to advance their own careers, expungements are not coming and the rules for the industry are getting enforced by locking people up still.
