Look like you could use ur brush hog between the rose. We had to use Weedwhacker's to on ur crop the weeds was kicking ur butt next year wider Rose so we can use a brush hog to maintain the pairs better. We had to 20 acres to Weedwhacker Yes my thumb was numb to buy running the weedeater 6 hours a day
I hope your thumb recovered? You could buy a cultivator for your tractor or do like I did. I bought a 5 foot tiller and drug that between my rows. I did damage the plastic every now and then but i got pretty good at it after a while. They stayed pretty clean. Chuck
Are you growing conventional or organic? Use glyphosate if conventional between rows and ag grade vinegar if trying organically. This is the applicator http://danvillenodrift.com/.
What works for me better than mowing or whacking the rows is tilling in between the plastic. I wish I could send you a picture of my garden. My hemp land used to be a hay field. The only grass that seems to survive the till kill is Johnson grass, but it takes weeks to get back to being a problem
Great video and I admire your work ethic. I have 327 plants that are planted in reusable container bags which allows me to perform any landscape maintenance needed. I know that doesn’t fit your specific layout but it really reduces the amount of labor required to maintain the plants and all the unwanted weeds that grow around them.
Great videos. My recommendation for next year is making your 'skip a row' the width of your tiller so you can till the cover crop up without any issue. Only cover crop you may need to trim are some between the tilled row and the white plastic. Happy Farming!
Great effort. No experience with growing hemp, but I would suggest using a bagger mower and emptying the clippings in your tractor bucket/truck bed and disposing of them elsewhere.
Hey everyone…I haven't tried it, but I'm looking at getting one of these for next year. Has anyone tried this or something similar?

Maybe try a hoop hoe, they make wheel hoe on a wheel that works well, maybe try that. Check out Honey tree farm nc here on youtube.
