CBD Legal Status Update: FDA Holds First Hearing and Issues Warnings
Good Morning Liberty: June 19, 2019 On May 31, the FDA held its first hearing on CBD. After the meeting, the same questions remain as before: will the federal …
In my opinion, the FDA is nothing more than a gang of federal thugs whose regulations harm the many at the benefit of the moneyed few. With perhaps a very few exceptions, the government rarely legalizes anything that is currently prohibited without first establishing a license and set of regulations that establishes them as the ultimate authority over the thing being legalized. It is my belief that, the mere act of petitioning government for a right cedes to them that they are the supreme authority over those rights. As Jefferson said, “A free people claim their rights, as derived from the laws of nature, and not as the gift of their chief magistrate.” Regulations are nothing more than an attempt by government to monopolize an industry for the "sagacious, the enterprising, and the moneyed few over the industrious and uniformed mass of the people." In Federalist Essay No. 62 Publius states clearly that, "Another effect of public instability is the unreasonable advantage it gives to the sagacious, the enterprising, and the moneyed few over the industrious and uniformed mass of the people. Every new regulation concerning commerce or revenue, or in any way affecting the value of the different species of property, presents a new harvest to those who watch the change, and can trace its consequences; a harvest, reared not by themselves, but by the toils and cares of the great body of their fellow-citizens. This is a state of things in which it may be said with some truth that laws are made for the FEW, not for the MANY." In my opinion, we need to stop asking government permission to exercise our rights and simply "refuse to cooperate" with any government entity who attempts to license a right.
“Where Rights secured by the Constitution are involved there can be no rule-making or legislation, which would abrogate them” Miranda v. Arizona (1966) 384 U.S. 436, 86 S. Ct. 1602, 16 L. Ed. 2d 694, 10 ALR 3rd 974 and 59 other ALR treatises .
“The claim and exercise of a constitutional right can not be converted into a crime.” Miller v. U.S., 230 F 2d 486, 489.
“There can be no sanction or penalty imposed upon one because of his exercise of constitutional Rights.” Sherar v. Cullen, 481 F. 945.
“No state shall convert a liberty into a privilege, license it, and attach a fee to it.” Murdock v. Pennsylvania 319 U.S. 262.
“If the state converts a liberty into a privilege the citizen can engage in the right with impunity.” Shuttlesworth v. Birmingham 373 U.S. 262.
Great show today I know this is off topic for today but I've got good news for Ohio Constitutional carry is being voted on next week and it looks like it's got enough support to pass

FDA is a joke basically. Because the states are ignoring them and will fight them. Way to much money being made.
