If the mitochondrion membrane is leaky, then ATP generation is less effective and fuel is wasted on creating a H+ gradient that doesn’t produce any ATP – that would be good if you wanted to loose weight, right ? Still, the omega 6 diet made the mice gain more weight. I cant follow this logic!
This sounds damaging, for sure. But there is another answer to this question:"What's going on in mitochondria that causes all this disease?" Answer: How about injecting aluminum via vaccines? Al is well known to damage mitochondria.
The charts (9:23 and 24:26) show "Omega 6 Linoleic Acid" (LA) or "Linoleic Acid" and "Alpha-Linoleic Acid" (ALA). Is this the same as linolenic and alpha-linolenic acids (with an "n" after "o") but that often have the same abbreviations? Between mono- poly- long-chain, omega 6, omega 3, saturated and now a supposed difference between linoleic and linolenic, I am going out of my mind!
I became a carnivore because of omega 3 ratio to omega 6. add in sugar and plant toxins grass fed beef is all that’s left. the carnivore diet works so well because it Eliminates almost all toxins and then adds the most nutrient dense foods if organ meat is also eaten. Organic butter and eggs, ancient salt and fatty fish that’s it. Don’t eat the seeds of plants don’t eat the oil from plant seeds and consider what each mouthful of food will do to your insulin levels also add the Randle cycle to the toxic way plant oils work on our body
Always love his talks
Fantastic talk. Eye opener speach.

Fantastic lecture, thank you,it supports other research findings I looked at.

I use olive oil to cook with, would it be better to use butter?

Would someone care to summarize?
