I have been looking for a better answer/description about separation anxiety and I love what you said about "You are the safe place", that makes a lot of sense to me. Going to start his training and report back. Thank you
Ok that dog knows more on the Sit command than my 8 year old rescue. So my queation is do they need to be taught sit prior to crate training. And what do u do when u work 9 hours a day and they have to be crated forbtheir own safety
My dog is very anxious. I have a 12 yr old mini dachshund whose separation anxiety/frustration barking I've been battling for a few months. I'm moving to an apartment (currently in a duplex) in a few months and I'm terrified that I'll get noise complaints. I've been talking to the vet and we might try a different medication to see if it'll help. If anyone has more suggestions I'd love to hear them.
I got a puppy two weeks ago, he's almost 11weeks old. im noticing some signs of separation anxiety, especially at nights when hes asleep alone. Im anxious to try follow these steps and desensitize him to his sleeping area. which treats do you recommend for small puppies?
I have an 8 week old puppy that's driving me to jump off a bridge. He won't allow me to do anything unless I'm holding him. I can't take a fucking shower without him crying insanely, can't use the bathroom, cant cook or clean without constantly tripping over him while he's crying for me, god forbid I leave for work he crys all damn day so terribly that now my neighbors are complaining. Idk what else to do. I can't take it anymore
Great video im going to use CBD oil as a supplement for my dog from now on and especially when I leave him for a week when I have to travel. It could help right?
This is such an informative video! My dog does fine in her crate but i hardly use it anymore as she is allowed in the living room when I leave. I’m leaving for a week though and I’m afraid she’ll need to be in her crate at my sisters house because she has a lot of plants that could poison her. She trembles when she’s left in a place she doesn’t know to well and pants. I’m hoping to supplement cbd and see how she does. Thank you for the tips on what to look for in the oil!
This is a great video. The crate is so important to their development. I also love that at 10:05 they went in the crate on their own and you acknowledged it. You can see they loved that they did it right. I just found this channel and I love it.
Hi! If i want to leave my dog in the garden, how can i train that? My dog barks and gets crazy when i leave, she lays in front of the door so I can't even go out. Thank you so much if you answer 🙂
My dog flips out when i leave but when i come back he's over protective of me

Be careful to give with a plastic not glass syringe cos dogs or cats can bite into and swallow the glass ones

Hello, is this also important if there is no crate, but only his “place”/bed? Does that also count as a dogs safe place?
Interesting ! Great video 😀
Thanks fur the post!
