Hi James!! Your video is so informative! I didn't know you can get an infection from misusing salt water rinses 😟I've been using NeilMed Sinus Rinse for 3 years now because I deal with chronic sinusitis and it does wonders for my sinus! 😌
I don't know why but I've been so scared to use these! I've been having sinus issues for almost two years now and I think I should finally give it a try. You made me feel more comfortable and confident about doing this, thank you!! (I know, I'm such a baby!😂🙈)
I had some dust or some slightly larger particle stuck in my nasal passages a few days ago. It felt like I was always on the verge of sneezing. Blowing my nose did not do the trick. I decided to do the neti pot thing. I made my own using a water bottle. I poked an air hole into the side near the bottle's bottom to allow the water to more freely drain when turned over. I boiled about a pint of tap water and then added about a half teaspoon of salt and mixed it together. I allowed the water to cool and then poured it into the bottle. The pouring water through the nasal passages is not pleasant but it is tolerable. More importantly, it removed whatever it was that was bothering my nasal passages.
