I’m in charge of the supply of Cannabis in Quebec (Canada) and I already can tell the consumption have shifted to a much more « responsible » way here… we have legalized Cannabis for a year now and I can confirm everything said in this video is 100% right. Prohibition never makes the users more responsible.
I feel like, because marijuana is illegal, it paves the way for self normalization of continued illegal activity (heroin, crack, meth, etc.). If it was legal I believe it would take a similar role to alcohol and not lead to further drug use.
I checked 4 out of 5 from the conditions that make you vulnerable to drugs and addiction… Well that explains my video game & weed addiction, thank you Kurzgesagt! Everyday you learn something new about yourself, FeelsGoodMan
Do you know how many more risks other drugs have. Ya know the commercials for arthritis drugs then the last 10 mins is deticated to inform you on the risks. This is prolly one of the only drugs that have like no risk.
still don't understand why Marijuana is illegal and yet cigarettes are, it's basically saying people would rather get addicted and die a horrible and painful death than get high and have a good time with a small chance of addiction and gum disease.
Marijuana IS A GATEWAY DRUG ironically however it's because it's illegal. People in illegal states have to get it on the streets and that exposes them to shady characters that try to market harder drugs to them. It's psychologically easier for people who have been purchasing weed illegally to purchase other illegal drugs because they're already used to the process of buying an illegal drug on the street.
Bull s#!+. Canibis has a remarkable self regulatory inhairent-sico-farmalogical prophet. It's a bronklur dialulator cigarettes are a bronklur constrictor. No one has ever died from mairajuana.
I don't understand why people bring up the fact that cannabis is getting stronger as a bad thing. That means less smoke, less tar, less carcinogens when smoking. Instead of having to smoke 4 fat joints, full of tar, possibly sprayed with carcinogenic pesticides, now you only have to smoke 1 bowl of laboratory tested cannabis to get the same desired effect. Demanding a regulation that forces growers to raise CBD levels will just perpetuate the black market. Alcohol is legal and regulated, but where you have states with proof limits, you also have moonshiners. They generally aren't following any regulations or testing and toxic batches can be unknowingly sold to the consumers.
Gateway drug!? Guess what, drug dealers don't card. Dispensaries do. Drug dealers often sell more than 1 type of drug, so a 15 year old kid buying a bag of weed from his local dealer has a good chance of being offered coke, meth, heroin, etc. A lot of people that get started on pills do so because their dealer ran out of weed, but thanks to big pharma, there is never a shortage of pills, and desperate people take desperate measures, and will often turn to whatever they can get their hands on for short term relief. I've never heard of someone being asked if they wanted any harder drugs while checking out at a dispensary. If you close the "gate" you no longer have a "gateway" drug.
Decides to light up the pipe while watching
Marijuana saved one of my family members lives despite being illegal. Though it can be obtained in Australia legally, the cost was outrageous.

Those 39K dislikes are all weed addicts.
Legalize mariujana for medical use, not for personal addiction. It has health benefit if we use it moderately.
